We inherited the family home in Co Waterford 14 years ago and became the third generation to own the home full of spirit and wonderful memories for us. Living down under (Australia) we would come to the Emerald Isle and spend time at the home. Our circumstances changed and we decided to sell the home. For the last six years the home was rented out and self-managed by us. ALL was good with the tenacity.

Following significant research, we contacted REA Spratt to provide a sale price estimate. Eamonn Spratt attended the property found it to be in good order and neat and tidy. The estimate was provided. As required, we gave the tenant 180 days’ notice to vacate. Vacant possession was provided and again Eamonn attended the property. At this stage we had not signed any agreement with REA Spratt to act as our Agent to sell the property. On inspection Eamonn recommended some works to be carried out. Eamonn contacted us and suggested a strategy to sell the property via online auction. Eamonn and his team swung into action coordinating the clean-up and bringing the property back to a high standard for the impending sale. Eamonn contacted us on a daily basis, to provide progress reports and viewings that had taken place.

Eamonn and his team worked tirelessly over a brief period of time and went well above and beyond what you would expect from an Agent to bring about the best result.

The property sold via the on-line auction and achieved a result far greater than our expectations.
